WA Craftsman Initiation &
Resin Bench making Workshop (2 days)
SAT 28th - SUN 29th August

Treasured Youth Co is spicing up public art, youth mental health awareness and the classic down south trip with its inspired ‘Treasure Trail of WA’ project, a collection of interactive  murals that will begin in Kalamunda and finish in Esperance.

At least 20 treasure sites on the road down south will aim to be finished by 2022. Part of this project involves creating spaces that the local community can connect.

Constriction of unique shelters and beautiful seating for the trail will begin later in 2021 through the vision that local business's and organisations such as the Men Shed of WA, the WA Blacksmiths Association and local craftsman in regional areas will assist schools to engage at risk students in learning new skills of woodwork and resin.  These skills will allow the young people to co-create and co-build the Treasure Trail - providing our WA to take ownership of the Trail.

To register for this skill-building workshop, please click the link below where you will be re-directed to eventbrite. Registration is free but the fee is $50 per head for catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea) across the 2 days.
